Maria is a dream partner for a dream dancer/teacher.You both are the BEST dancers with the BEST chemistry and I always look forward to seeing you dance each week.The season you were absent from the show was lackluster and I kept wishing you were there to fill the void.You are the BEST choreographer/dancer and you never cease to amaze and inspire with your creativity, energy, dance moves, and attitude (and your posture is admirable!).I can't count the times that your dances have brought tears to my eyes...namely the time you danced the Waltz with Joanna.You bring out the best in each of your partners and we are fortunate to be able to watch a true artist paint his canvas in the true sense of the form. -

Derek, you are an amazing human being! Your dances are always so creative and innovative. But, this Rumba was beyond belief. The whole setting was perfect - the sunlight, the quiet music and Maria as your Greek Goddess! After the comments from Bruno, I thought for sure you would get the first 10 (you actually deserved 30). You are a true artist, using the dance floor as your canvas and Maria as your paintbrush. What a masterpiece the Rumba was! I keep watching it over and over again. Looking forward to a season filled with these beautiful memories from you! Thank you so much for all the joy you have given me watching you dance! -
There are so few words to describe such an amazing, lovely, and sexy dance that you and Maria did. You have such a wonderful talent...........you are loving, patient with your stars, and have a way to make them shine in such an amazing way. You are one talented young man! Please continue to amaze us each week, continue to make us at home, feel as tho you are dancing with us, making us feel loved and sexy. I, for one, imagine that you could make a dancer out of me!!!! Very beautiful and amazing dance!! That sunlight at the back, very slow music, the costumes and the flow of moves and feelings made me watch it again and again:)) It is really amazing to see Maria came to this point from bambi steps:) You are magical.:) -

It left me speechless!! That was AMAZING! Don't know what else to say! I think you should have had a 30...or at least one or two 10's. LOVED Maria's costume...it was GORGEOUS! Team Menough is an awesome team! :)

I had to watch your dance several times in extra slow-mo to see if there really was a kiss going on. Dang...either way, Maria is the luckiest in America right now! Genius choreogrphy Mr.11 ;)
