Wish I had a video of my son and daughter-in-law's first dance. They took lessons and came out on the dance floor with a hilarious Tango to 'Mack the Knife', complete with mouth-to-mouth passing of a rose. What fun to watch! They also had my son's a cappella group sing the music for the ceremony, concluding with my son shouting out James Brown's 'I Feel Good', at which point they both kicked off their shoes and danced back down the aisle! (I wondered why he didn't have any socks on!) The whole package was beautiful and fun and symbolic of their life together. -

is it just me or is this the sad state of weddings..embarrassing comes to mind, especially old outa shape dads dancing inappropriately with daughters..i dont know i think weddings should be elegant and fun, but not dirty and disrespectful...not cake shoved in your face, not dirty music etc...oh well i guess i am outa the times..maybe if these dances were at the end of the night i would feel better...but to make a joke of the reception seems low class to me. -
