Maybe you should make Shawn see 'The Titanic' before y'all do the Rumba, since that's what you are dancing to. It's really a tear-jerker and might tone down that beautiful smile of her's while dancing such a romantic dance. We all know that she has great sex appeal somewhere beneath that innocent look, as you pulled some of it out last week. I'm anxious to see next week to see if you get her to really let go! If y'all don't win the crystal (mirror) ball this season, I'm boycotting DWTS for life! -

I understand you are doing the Quickstep to Helio and Julianne's "Hey Pachuco". Since you have this fascination with making Shawn blush, are you going to put in the same ending that Helio did? I think he really surprised Julianne with that KISS! -

Be careful Derek! After the Jive last night, me thinks Shawn could take you down - because "Daddy needs to breathe". LOL Remember that she accidentally decked Mark. Be on your toes. I think you have finally meet your match! She can keep up with you on technique. The 2 of you were really in sync (not Joey Fatone). I am looking forward to see what magic you will bring to the dance floor. If Len gets an eye test and stops being crabby, you guys will break all records. But, I hear you want to break the rules with the Quickstep. That will just annoy all 3 judges. I'm sure you can do a great number and stay in hold.

Awwwwwwwwwww so cute!!!! Don't take this wrong, but it'd pretty easy to me to blush just for being in your presence, can't imagine with your face next to mine! You're pretty handsome and intense guy!
By the way, loved the Jive last night. You're doing a great job with Shawn, I'm impressed how much she improved since season 8. Keep working like that, because we'll help you guys make the finals, I'm also dying to see what you have in mind for a freestyle with Miss Shawn Johnson! -

I feel for her, because I am exactly the same way. Easy to blush, easy to embarrass... Especially men, very handsome men. And , that is just adorable and hilarious... The more you do it the better right? Cause the RUMBA is around the corner somewhere...If anyone can bring the sexy out of the innocent it's YOU!!!So cute to see you having fun together! As competitive as Shawn is, probably should remind her that she will be around long enough for a rumba and with all the other couples steaming up the dancefloor this season, a rumba dedicated "to a dead relative or favorite city" is not gonna win anyone a MBT. She should probably start getting used to, and comfortable kissing you now instead of waiting til the last minute !! A brief acting stint, if it's that tough for her ! GEEZZZ!

Ahhhh, Derek. Be gentle with her. You should try to make her more comfortable around you. She should not have to worry that you're going to be hunting for ways to embarrass her. Eventually, that will affect the way you dance with each other. -
Lol, that is a funny moment. You two dance amazingly great together. So much energy and excitement. Funny how whatever you are experiencing in life, whether it may be with a person or an event, can be shown on the dance floor through dancing. Without any words being spoken. Its amazing. Bruno said, there is synchronicity between the two of you. But what are you most excited about this season, or anxious about? It's a journey to go. Team Shawnough! And Ofcourse, all my votes go to you guys.. Duh. Lol, you two will be safe tonight.
